42 Years of Community Support

One of the most celebrated and important events in the SRDC calendar is our annual Hospital Fair held at the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital (DKCH) in Sandy Bay, which we have been holding for 42 years.

Every year, thanks to the help, support and involvement from the public and community, we manage to raise money to help DKCH purchase essential medical equipment and improve its facilities. With great attendance from the public who enjoy visiting the various stalls to grab some bargains, eat delicious food and generally have fun. The vendors who take up the stalls also benefit of promoting and selling their products.

All in all, this, along with our annual summer raffle, contributes greatly to raising funds for us to continue our important work.
